Night and day

today

I know there will be change

whatever night has conquered

will be lost

–

Progressively

these things do not happen instantly

many more battles to follow up

stand up

it’s time to fight

–

Fight for yourself

fight for all those who can’t

who say they can’t

and you shall be remembered

or maybe not

–

What is important now

is for day to prevail

whatever the cost

the sun must rise again

for all to watch

–

Surely there will be rain

Certainly some parts the sun will burn

Night is not just darkness

Day doesn’t bring

always light

–

Come on now

get ready

there is no such thing as

waiting for the first sunshine.

We shall make it happen
